Yes - Unicorns exist and I am one!
Shun the non-believer:
How much does it cost to buy a car?
The usual response here is "Well, it depends on what type of car it is!" and a few other clarifications. Well, same thing!
It depends on all the work involved, from discovery, to design, to development, to changes. Some websites take very little financial commitment. Others are astronomical. Projects fall all over this scale. The best way to find out how much your project will cost would be to have a conversation with me.
I normally bill every other week for work performed. I also occasionally bill more or less frequently, sometimes 50% down and 50% on delivery on fixed budgets. It depends mostly on the preferences of the client.
I use Harvest timers and project trackers to keep track of client hours so invoices are crystal clear and reflect accurate timeframes.
Good question -
Actually, though no official credentials really exist to qualify people to build websites, I consider mine to be among the following:
While I'd be delighted to work with your organization at any level, I am unable to take any full-time position or sign any exclusivity contracts at this time.
Yes! It's just me, until you need more. Then, I call my content writer, my SEO team, my design & development partners, and more! Yes, I have all of these resources at my disposal and none of the run-around that can be had scheduling these things independently. When you're working with Petroglyph you're not limited to Petroglyph's skill reach. If Petroglyph can't do it, we'll find someone who can.
Actually, no! It's built in Craft. Craft is a new-fangled CMS that was born of a desire to correct things in other CMS's. I figured with my own site, here was the perfect chance to give it a whirl and see what all the buzz was about. If you're interested in my building a site in Craft for you, I'd be happy to talk with you more.
I know, isn't it great?
